SCHMINCKE Indian Ink 250ml
SCHMINCKE 29700027Indian Ink 1912 is a waterproof, deep black and document-safe drawing ink that dries. The name goes back to a historical Schmincke product: as Indian Ink, this shellac ink, also known as Indian ink, was already available in the Schmincke range in 1912. Shellac, a resin, is a historical, natural binding agent that ensures that the ink dries waterproof and gives the ink a particularly silky sheen. The water-based new edition of Indian Ink with shellac as a binding agent has a liquid consistency and is therefore ideal for writing, painting and drawing with all types of nibs and brushes. The neutral deep black (pigment Pbk7) on a natural basis can be used undiluted or diluted with water on surfaces that are as smooth as possible calendered papers (drawing papers) and dries to a satin finish. Shake before use. Work equipment must be cleaned with water (and soap) immediately after use.
