To fill up pen, unscrew the pen barrel in counter clockwise direction. Remove any empty ink cartridges. Place one full cartridge in the barrel facedown and a second on top, facing upwards. To pierce the cartridge, screw the pen barrel back into place in a clockwise direction. Finally, draw the ink through the nib by stroking the tip across the paper until the ink flows through. To care for your pen, wash the nib occasionally under running warm water. Do not use waterproof inks. Replace the cap after use and carry the pen upright.
