Ingrid Buchthal, one of the Founding Members of the newly founded DAG/GWS (GERMAN WATERCOLOUR SOCIETY), is one of Germany's leading water-colourists. She brings an exceptional sensitivity, a lightness of touch and a seeming effortlessness to all her paintings. Her landscapes have a haunting presence. She has conducted highly successful workshops and exhibitions throughout Europe and the US for more than two decades.

Ingrid uses a wide range of brush shapes and sizes. However, for all of her larger sized brushes she prefers the synthetic filament of the PRADO series. For her smallest sized brushes she uses kolinsky-tajmyr hair from the RESERVA series.

Ingrid Buchthal brushes are available in two sets which best represent what she uses as an artist.

Each set contains 3 brushes and all of them are short handle. Set #1 includes her essential brushes and set #2 completes her brush collection.
